Whether you opt for a whole or half hog share to feed your family, you choose from the following sections based on your preference of cuts: ham, shoulder (aka Boston butt/picnic butt/picnic shoulder), ribs, belly, porkchops, and ground pork/sausage. Our price is currently $6.50*/lb based on hanging weight and includes standard** processing fees, custom cut & freezer wrapped pork, and delivery within 45 miles of the farm. Average hanging weight for a whole hog share is 225 lbs.
A whole share will yield approximately: (will verify weights when we get our pork)
40 lbs. Ham
40 lbs. Shoulder
(2) Racks of Spare Ribs
10-12 lbs belly/bacon
20 lbs bone in pork chops
30 lbs ground pork/sausage

**standard processing fees includes all but smoked meat fees. For any portion the customer would like smoked by the processor, there is an additional $4/lb cost, due upon delivery.
