This tomato is distinctly different than other tomatoes sold as Golden Queen, for this strain is of seed obtained from the USDA seed bank and is the original Golden Queen described by seedsman Livingston in 1882. Differing from solid yellow Golden Queen, this tomato produces 812 oz. fruits that are yellow with a pronounced pink blush on the blossom end. This is a better tasting, sweeter tomato.
