Grab a dozen free- range and pastured chicken eggs to pick up at the farm. We feed our chickens corn and soy free local feed and supplement their diet with lots of farm fresh veggies and fruit. They are rotated on pasture all year long and have lots of access to grass and space to roam.
Please note: Our eggs are UNWASHED. Unwashed eggs last longer and can be stored at room temperature for up to 1 month and if you store unwashed eggs in the fridge they can store for up to 6 months! Wash your eggs before using them in warm (not hot!) water. Ideal temperature is 90-119 degrees Fahrenheit. If not immediately using a washed egg, make sure to store it in the refrigerator now that its protective layer is removed!
*Occasionally we purchase WASHED eggs from other farmers that use the same pasture raised methods and quality feed without corn and soy. Please let us know if you have any questions. These eggs will need to be kept refrigerated.
