Pear caramel sauce is a silky blend of ripe pears with a touch of organic sugar, vanilla and spices. It's perfect drizzled over ice cream, pancakes, or cakes for a cozy, elegant dessert touch.
To turn it into a thick caramel sauce:
Add jar to heavy bottom sauce pan, add in more sugar (to taste) and reduce it on the stove over medium heat by half (for 10-15 minutes or so).
Slowly melt in 4 Tbsp of butter. Remove from heat and then add 1/4 cup of heavy cream.
Ingredients: Farm grown Bartlett pears, organic cane sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and sea salt.
