Rustic hot process soap made with our goat's milk, local grass-fed beef tallow, organic botanicals, raw local honey and essential oils. Bars are cut at 4.5 OZ Net Wt. but will weigh less as they age due to water evaporation.
Goat Milk. We have a team of dedicated ladies, human and rumen, working behind the scenes to produce milk with great nutritional value and high fat content. The fatty acids, lactic acid, vitamins and minerals in raw milk hydrate the skin by leaving a protective barrier and locking in moisture, similar to the way our skin produces sebum as a natural barrier.
Local Grass-fed Beef Tallow. Not only does grass-fed beef tallow contain vitamins A, D, E & K, its fatty acids closely resemble that of the sebum our skin produces. This means no clogged pores and fast absorption but it is an extremely sustainable byproduct. In soapmaking, tallow helps with hardness of the bar meaning it will last longer and produces a rich & creamy lather with gentle cleansing properties so as not to strip the skin of its natural oils.
Tips: Allowing the bar to dry between uses will greatly extend the life of your bar. Check out our Soap Saver Bags in 100% Cotton or Natural Sisal Fiber as a convenient way to store your soap between uses or even use as a loofah to scrub and exfoliate skin.
