Matt Caputo's yiayia (Greek for grandmother) was born and raised in Chania (pronounced "han-ya"), Crete. Their family heritage is deep and their passion for food is a part of the culture. In the search for an olive oil to represent Caputo's, it was obvious that it would come from here.
