*Donation to us support our partners
Singing Frogs Farm provides the following regular and occasional support to two groups: Those who are food insecure and BIPOC farmers.
As of November 1st, we will be using these funds to help pay for our EBT members' CSA boxes until EBT funds are restored by the federal government.
For other food insecure groups we donate fresh nutrient dense produce:
weekly to the California Homemakers Association;
weekly to the Cultural Conservancy via the landback Grow-A-Row program for Native Food Ways Native community partners through the Bay Area
several times a year to Farm-to-Pantry
Our farm nursery pumps out some amazing transplants and we love sharing those too! We provide veggie and flower starts to the following non-profit farms (with numbers of plants already donated last year):
Black Earth Farms every spring (50 plants)
Hummingbirds Urban Farm every spring and autumn (550 plants)
Sogorea Te' Land Trust every spring and autumn (50 plants)
Common Vision (300 plants) every spring and autumn
Castlemont (450 plants) every spring
Community Soil Foundation - Larkfield - (200 plants )
Heron Shadow Farm - Forestville - part of Native Food Ways (400 plants)
Farm to Pantry (700 plants)
Additionally, if you'd like to donate straight to our farm crew - leave a tip (different than donation). We'll save and make a quarterly bonus payment out of any monies put here.
