Our certified organic hogs live on 50 acres of organic pasture and enjoy an all organic diet that consists of our vegetables, Cowgirl Creamery Whey, Straus Creamery, foraged black walnuts, acorns, grasses, farm grown grains, and organic feed. The genetics of the hogs contain a cross of Eastern European Wild Boar, Yorkshire, Chester, Duroc, Tamworth, Hampshire and Black. Riverdog Farm hogs are certified organic raised animals by CCOF. Our meat is processed at a non-certified organic USDA facility, and therefore, the pork is not certified organic.
