Live Earth Farm’s 30th Anniversary Celebration!

Join us on Saturday, August 22, from 3:00–8:00 p.m. as we celebrate 30 years of community-supported farming!

This celebration is for our CSA members, site hosts, friends, and longtime supporters. In the spirit of farm gatherings from years past, we’ll come together at our beautiful farm site overlooking the fields to celebrate the beauty and bounty of summer.

You won’t want to miss it!

Food & Drinks

In the spirit of Live Earth Farm’s early years, this will be a potluck-style event. Please bring a favorite dish to share. We’ll set out a large community table, with dinner beginning around 4:30–5:00 p.m. Kindly label your dish and highlight any ingredients that may be important for guests with food allergies.

• Chef Sergio from FoodWhat! will make fresh tortillas, served with delicious farm-grilled vegetables and topped with his signature salsas.

• We’ll fire up our unique earthen cob oven for a small appetizer of roasted Padron peppers.

• Please bring your own drinks. We will also provide strawberry lemonade, fresh apple cider, and water.

• Music from the Banana Slug String Band and other invited musical guests will keep us entertained—come prepared to dance!

Fun for Everyone

• Press and enjoy fresh apple cider.

• Take a self-guided walking tour through the Farm Discovery Gardens.

• Enjoy a tractor ride through the farm fields and visit the redwood barn, where the daily harvest is washed and packed into your weekly shares.

• Visit the farm animals and meet Lucky the Pig, Bella the “Holy Cow,” Flair, Cody, and Star—our equine friends—as well as the goats and chickens.

• Bring a picnic blanket and relax in the meadow or beneath the oak trees while kids enjoy the hay fort and other farm activities

• Visit our farm stand for commemorative Live Earth Farm 30th-anniversary T-shirts, sweatshirts, canvas bags, and other delightful offerings.

Registration

Signing up is easy. You can use your CSA credit and register through the Farmhand webstore, or sign up through the Events section of our website.

Please register so we can keep you informed as the event approaches. We ask for a small contribution of $10 per vehicle, which covers parking and admission for up to seven people. Carpooling is encouraged!
