Storage & Handling
This product is perishable and ships chilled.
Keep frozen until baking. Pre-heat your oven to 400°. For convection ovens, lower the given temperature to 375°. If your pie browns too quickly, cover it with a loose sheet of foil. We include parchment sheets with each shipment and recommend that you use them to line your baking tray. For a golden brown crust, brush the dough with cream, milk, or an egg-wash. Sweet pastries may be sprinkled with sugar if desired. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Our Process
Fresh, organic apples make this pie pop with fall flavor! Chef Becky sources organic apples from our very own Frog Hollow orchards and our friendly local partner growers, which she slices by hand for a pie filling like no other. She then adds classic warm pie spices to the apples, and encases them within a double crust made light and flaky by a specialty mixture of organic butter and 100% pasture raised leaf lard. This is truly a nostalgic Apple Pie, showcasing seasonal flavors that are perfect for a crisp autumn day. Serve up slices fresh out of the oven to your friends and family, and try it á la mode or with whipped sweet cream for a little something extra.
