Our pastured pigs are a cross between hearty heritage breeds (American Guinea Hog x Ossabaw). They clean up fields, eat food scraps, and consume huge amounts of extra vegetable materials as we cycle through our planting beds. They turn brushy areas into cleaned-up fields, and they also taste great.
We cook these gently and then use them as delicious flavor in big family dishes liek fried rice, mac and cheese, etc. These cuts are $8/lb and usually run between 1.5 and 3.5 pounds per package.
