Our pastured pigs are a cross between hearty heritage breeds (American Guinea Hog x Ossabaw). They clean up fields, eat food scraps, and consume huge amounts of extra vegetable materials as we cycle through our planting beds. They turn brushy areas into cleaned-up fields, and they also taste great. If you eat pork, we think you'll love this sausage; savory, a little spicy, they work great as a main course or as part of any number of dishes. Chorizo is $10/lb and usually weighs 1 lb per package.
