Mojito mint (Mentha × villosa), also known as Cuban mint, is a mild-flavored mint variety traditionally used in the classic mojito cocktail. It has bright green, slightly crinkled leaves and a less intense menthol taste compared to spearmint or peppermint. Growing up to 2–3 feet tall, it spreads vigorously through underground runners and thrives in moist, well-drained soil with full to partial sunlight. Mojito mint’s smooth, slightly citrusy flavor makes it ideal for beverages, salads, and culinary applications.
