Some of the traits that were bred into Parris Island are resistance to tip burn, slow to bolt and tolerance to mosaic virus. Parris Island forms upright 10-12" heads that are uniform, medium green, slightly savoy with a creamy white heart. Mosaic virus tolerant. Makes amazing Caesar salads!
